Bound in Steel

Bound in steel-

      he screams in pain-

awaiting his bondage to be cut

awaiting his freedom.

Life comes just once, they say.

        But whereforth is

thy birthright to be free?

Cries the man in the name

         of the father and

         of his holy spirit

Cries the man in the name

          of the air, wind, water,fire and earth.

Who cometh though-

         to wipe his tears?

To cut his bondage?

To treat his wounds?

Life comes just once, they say.

Set him free, let him live

-          Just for that one day!
